Installed the glass on the door using the Sikaflex primer on the acrylic. Removed the tape number 1. The primer cured in about 20 min. In the meantime i cleaned with acetone the door. When the primer cured i spreader some SIKFLEX 295 on the acrylic where there was the clear space after removal of tape number one. I put the sikaflex 295 on the door. After positioning the glass i started pressing to align the glass with the door inserting the clecos and removing the excess oozed out. Installed all the clecos and cleaned a bit the door.
On the inside i spread the excess using a squeezer keeping at 90 degrees to the door recess. Checked with a light from the other side to see if there are areas with too little sikaflex. Unfortunately at the corner there were some wrinkles in the tape that made the squeezing a bit complicated.
I removed tape number 1 and i am pretty happy with the straight parts (better than the other door), but i am a bit worried about the corners as i think there is too much sikaflex and i don't dare to remove it as there is no protection on the glass.
